Session Information

I use a combination of approaches to suit your unique needs. You do not have to be struggling, or having a crisis to benefit from counselling. Anyone who wants to develop new insights, increased self-acceptance and personal growth can benefit from attending sessions.

Beginning therapy

I work with adults (18+) and offer weekly sessions to individuals on either a short-term or a longer-term basis. Sessions are available at my practice space in Norwich, Norfolk, and I also have a limited number of online appointments available. I provide both face to face and online sessions according to preference.

If you would like to arrange a free 15 minute chat by telephone, please contact me by email, mobile or by using the online form on my contact page. You can ask any questions you have, and get a sense of how we might work together. You can decide to book your consultation session with me, or take some time to think about it.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Session Information

Initial
consultaion

Our first session is an opportunity for us to learn more about each other. This session usually involves talking through your reasons for seeking therapy, and what you would like to work through together. By the end of the session we can decide whether we would like to work together, although we are under no obligation to continue.

Sometimes people feel anxious that attending a first session will mean they are committed to having therapy with me. I feel its important you find the right therapist for you, before committing to further sessions with me.

Further
sessions

I offer face-to-face sessions at my practice in Norwich, and also work online via video call.

I work on a short, medium or long-term basis with individuals, and I have considerable experience of working with adults with a wide range of presenting issues.

Each session lasts 50 minutes and normally takes place at the same time and same day each week.

The number of sessions you might need will be based upon what you wish to work through, although I mostly work in an open ended way.

Session
payments

Payment is due prior to each session, payable by BACS. I will send you my bank details before our first meeting. Alternatively, I accept cash at the time of your session. In some circumstances, I can invoice you, monthly in advance.

If you are unable to attend a session, please let me know at least 48 hours prior to our session. I will do my best to offer you an alternate time but I may not always be able to.  For any cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice, the session fee is still due, as I reserve the session space for you.

Session fees: £55.00
